Wanted to let you know that I've retired from my full time career and am pursing my PHD in Pastoral Clinical Psychology. As I look back, your good advice was a part of that decision. My specialty will be in Temperament, which has a great deal in common with PLACE. I love this stuff!"

"Last week, I began a PLACE class (5 weeks, 1 1/2 hrs per class) in my office for a group who is "unchurched" but know Christ. I think this is a great "in-between" experience and will also help them to recognize not only "where" God is leading them next but "how" to serve in the place He leads them to."

"God is doing a mighty work in a local Houston area prison where hundreds of inmates are receiving Christ and enrolling in an extension of Southwestern Theological Seminary actually located within the prison compound. 120 men are now enrolled in seminary classes. PLACE is finding a new place within this prison environment to help validate the worth, abilities and potential ministry within each man’s life. PLACE is helping them realize that God never throws a life away. To the contrary, God can and will use them right where they are to bring them joy while serving others in His name."

"As Relate moves to increase volunteering and serving within our population, I thought it would be wise to begin discipling our folks by equipping them with knowledge of their spiritual gifts, so they can serve in areas where they can be most effective by God's design. Here is a program that I have been through and highly recommend. It is like no other spiritual gift "assessment" you have ever seen... guaranteed. The way it incorporates all aspects of who a person is (i.e. gifts, talents, personality, and life experience) empowers believers to maximize their potential success and satisfaction in truly knowing that they are doing what God created and molded them to do.
PS: I like how Jay created the website for PLACE because he intended it to help teach people about PLACE - not just be a marketing site. As you progress from page to page you learn how to implement PLACE, what coaching is about etc."

"After the one year "angelversary" for Justin, I really started to feel better. I felt so "renewed" and kept feeling God tapping on my shoulder. He was telling me that I have the gift of leadership and I needed to use it to help other parents like me. I kept pushing it off my shoulder, but on the Sunday that Jay McSwain came and spoke to us, he touched me deeply and I accepted God's command that day sitting in church.
I have been joined by other bereaved parents and have started a local chapter of The Compassionate Friends. You can Google it and read about it if you don't already know about it. Our chapter was accepted today and we are very excited. I will be chapter leader and I have 11 other parents & siblings that are particpating on our steering committee."
