I started my ministry of discipleship due to what I believe was a life calling. I have come to believe that God calls all believers to live out their life in a specific manner utilizing Spiritual Giftedness & godly Passions. This calling can be affirmed by a continuous awareness of how God speaks to believers today—His word (Bible)—His interpreter (Holy Spirit)—Prayer—Circumstances—The Church.

Zig Ziglar says, “Today in this world you can not make it as a wandering generality—you must be a meaningful specific”, as a believer this can only mean finding out God’s plan for your life & following it through to completion. I believe God honors a more direct & specific seeking of his will, such as Paul’s seeking in Acts 22:10

“What shall I do Lord?” Paul went right to the bottom line and was committed to whatever response he was given. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you” Jer 29:13-14 thus Paul received a mission to take the gospel to the Gentiles. For a believer today to have an authentic mission it must include their Spiritual Giftedness & or a godly Passion (in the strength of Christ not their own).

PURPOSEFUL VISION is a PLACE resource and what makes it unique is it’s integrally reflective quality. Its focus is you, the believer & your current level of commitment—it starts where you are & helps move you step-by-step into authentic discipleship.

Using a very clear & simple illustrative process it sets your feet on a path of discovery—your own unique race that God has laid out for you to run. “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Hebrews 12:1

It establishes a Purpose—Mission—Vision within the will of God & a godly PACE for fulfilling your Purpose—achieving your Mission—experiencing your Vision.

A purposeful vision requires a relationship with God or a very intense desire to have a relationship with Him. IThe workbook is a companion resource to the PLACE Participant Guide. It’s like the next step for those individuals who are seeking more. It is a life changing study. I am a living example. Know your purpose and live it!
