But, I’ve come to consider its inclusion as a self-discovery tool as one of the significant contributions of PLACE.

Starting PLACE from Scratch

Last month my wife, my three sons and I joined a church in our community. I am so excited because I happen to know the new pastor and he is a PLACE fan. I have the opportunity to start the PLACE process from scratch! WOW, no prior history with an intentional process to recruit and maintain volunteers, a blank slate.

Engaging God’s People

How do you get your people off the pew and engaged in meaningful volunteer ministry?  What a huge, complex, yet completely relative question.  If only we had a simple solution.  I have realized that there are no simple solutions to the complexities we face in life and ministry.  Simple solutions tend to make great selling book titles and that is about it.  Yet there is a solution to engaging and mobilizing your people into meaningful ministry.
