Tomorrow I will give some of my thoughts to Jamie and Barbara’s perspectives on how DISC personalities experience quarantine along with how I have processed ALL that has been happening with the corona virus at home, work, church, and beyond my little world and perspective.

The C Personality will be a good person to have on-hand especially “Pre-Quarantine.”  If you want to make sure you have enough provisions put a C in charge. Menus will be planned and the pantry will be stocked. However, if the group quarantined together is not a group who are familiar with each other, the C may work themselves into indecision on what exactly to prepare for meals with all the unknown possible food allergies and food preferences of their quarantine buddies.

C’s will be happy in a group where at least one D is around. C’s usually don’t want to be the leader and are great rule followers, so during quarantine, the loyal C in your group can be expected to follow the directives given. However, because C’s tend to live in the past, if they are going to be quarantined with anyone who has wronged them previously, there may be some hard feelings in this current situation. C’s who have learned to submit their hurts to the Holy Spirit can work toward forgiveness of their wrongdoers.

We continue with Day 8 on how DISC personalities experience being quarantined personally and with those they are being quarantined together with at home.

Each day we are looking at a couple of my team members, Jamie Parler and Barbara Valerioti, who wrote interesting insights to me that I want to share with you. I continue to want to emphasize that we don’t want to trivialize the situation, but all of us need a smile or two these days. And with most of us confined to our homes, it will be a good time to learn how people think and process through the lens of their personalities. We are rotating each day between Jamie and Barbara and what they wrote for each DISC personality. On the 9th day tomorrow, I will write and let you know my thoughts and how I have interacted as a spiker D personality with family, co-workers, friends, acquaintances, and strangers through the last few weeks. On day 10, I want to give you a few words of hope and
encouragement as we go through this experience together.
